How to Help

Volunteering at Calvary

Volunteers are essential to the success of Calvary's programs and residents. These dedicated supporters let the women at Calvary know that someone cares about them and help Calvary provide the best possible services to women in our community. And our volunteers say that what they get back is much more than what they give.

Calvary's community outreach coordinator works with groups and individuals, women and men, youth groups to seniors to match your individual interests and talents to the needs of our programs and the women we serve.

We hope you will find a way to get involved. These are just a few ideas to get you started. If you have other ideas or gifts to share, please contact us. We would love to work with you!

Attend an event or special activity, shoot photos or video, and write about your experience.

Media volunteers attend special events and activities, record the event, take notes, and submit written text about the event for Calvary’s blog, newsletter, social networking sites or other publications. These talented friends make it possible for Calvary to share with others all the exciting things that are happening at our programs and in the community.

Media volunteers are asked to submit a writing sample and provide their own photographic equipment. Events happen throughout the year, often in the evening.
