NCH is a network of advocates across the country committed to ending homelessness in America. This site offers a variety of fact sheets that provide a background for understanding issues surrounding homelessness.

National Alliance to End Homelessness
The Alliance’s website provides great information about homelessness on their “Homelessness 101” page, or you can browse their fact sheets for more detailed information.

The Community Partnership for the Prevention of Homelessness
The Community Partnership is an independent non-profit that coordinates Washington DC’s Continuum of Care by organizing prevention services, street outreach efforts, emergency shelter, transitional housing and permanent supportive housing for individuals and families. The “Understanding Homelessness” page offers recent data on DC’s homeless population.
