Calvary Wish List
Current Needs
Give a woman at Calvary a warm, clean bed. Donate a set of twin size sheets and comforter (new or gently used) for a woman who has been homeless and living on the streets or staying at an emergency shelter before coming to Calvary.
- Metro fare cards or bus tokens help women get to work, school, or medical appointments.
- New pajamas and nightgowns (most in larger sizes) are needed for women who are new to Calvary. Women would also like bathrobes and slippers for cool mornings.
- Women at Calvary Women's Shelter have asked for shower caps and flip-flops.
- The program is also in need of family-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner.
Upcoming Projects
Remember the women at Calvary for Mother's Day by giving each woman a gift bag of nice toiletries or other small gift.
Life Skills classes will be holding graduation ceremonies soon, and the staff members who lead the classes would love to give the graduates gifts such as gift cards to restaurants, coffee shops, or bookstores. Women who are graduating from GED or job training programs could use gift certificates to hair or nail salons to help them look and feel their best for their special days.

- Gift certificates for manicures, facials, or massages

- Picture frames (all sizes)

For Cooking Classes
