Calvary Captain Countdown – 15 days!

This will be Gretchen Rydin’s first year walking with us, and we are happy to have her on the team! After being a regular volunteer at Calvary, Gretchen was interested in the Walkathon as a new way to get involved with Calvary. Gretchen is particularly impressed with this event because she describes herself as “outcome-driven” and the Walkathon not only raises money for a great cause, but also awareness. With the unique prospect of helping on two different levels, she’s eager to walk on November 20th!

Volunteering on a regular basis has given Gretchen the chance to get up close and personal with Calvary’s mission. “I see the women we serve through Calvary walk away from the most difficult of situations. They walk, so I can too.”

Along with her valuable talents as a Calvary volunteer, she’s also a musician – Gretchen can play the violin and viola!

Take a look at Gretchen’s Walkathon page here!
