Calvary Captain Countdown – 9 days!

“I’m looking forward to the excitement in the air when over 50,000 people come together for one cause.”

Natalie Sorkin was recruited to join the walk through her friend Catherine Bisson, Calvary’s Operations Director. She and fellow Calvary Captain and friend Melissa Maybe both hail from Whippany, New Jersey. They’re joining forces not only to support Catherine, but also as a chance to get involved! Natalie told us this is her first big volunteer event since she was in college – and she’s excited for the chance to see amazing people come together to help others in need.

Some words of wisdom Natalie would like to impart: “Life passes by and you forget to volunteer, but having an event to rally behind is fun and inspiring. I walk for Calvary because they have a great cause.”

If you haven’t signed up yet, please join Natalie and the rest of Calvary’s Team for the Walkathon (choose beneficiary code DC010): www.helpthehomelessdc.org
