Calvary Captain Countdown – 2 Days Until the Walkathon!

Cornella Chambers first found Calvary three years ago and has been involved as a meal volunteer ever since.

She’s especially proud to be able to support Calvary during this exciting time for the organization. “I’ll be walking this year to help support Calvary and the women at Calvary with their expansion efforts and overall growth”

This D.C. native is an avid runner. Between her running and the Walkathon, she’s got a bust November ahead of her: “I’ll be participating in my second full marathon on November 12, the Saturday prior to the Walkathon.”

  • Visit Cornella’s Walkathon page (here)!

We need 550 walkers to reach our goal and earn an additional $10,000 from the Walkathon event sponsors. We’re 50 walkers away…will you be the one to put us over the top and earn Calvary the bonus grant? Sign up to join the team here: http://www.helpthehomelessdc.org/goto/Calvary
