Worth more than a thousand words? Definitely.

collage - all 3Recently Michael Skinner – a photographer, filmmaker and longtime friend of Calvary Women’s Services – spent an afternoon taking portraits of Calvary residents, graduates and staff members. We wanted to share some of our favorites.

A while back I wrote a post about how much I enjoy and am inspired by the photographs that help tell the stories of the women who come to Calvary. These new photos certainly do the same – reminding me of all of the hope and strength that are so much a part of what happens here. All of these individuals together make an incredible community, and I love that these pictures capture just a few of the personalities in the mix.

Many thanks to Michael for sharing his considerable talents and to everyone who shares her image and story with us.
