The Hope Awards Dinner is Coming!

Every spring, hundreds of supporters of Calvary Women’s Services attend the Hope Awards Dinner to celebrate the achievements of women at Calvary. We hope you will join us for this inspiring evening, happening Thursday, May 14 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC.

The Hope Awards Dinner honors influential individuals who embody Calvary’s philosophy of empowerment. Whether they are big names in Washington, DC or around the nation, the Hope Award recognizes individuals who make a difference in women’s lives. Past honorees include Katie Couric; NPR’s Diane Rehm; Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton; and past president of the Community Foundation, Terri Lee Freeman.

The Hope Awards Dinner is a special tradition for Calvary, and each year the event is bigger and better than the last. One highlight of the Hope Awards Dinner is sharing in the personal triumph of a woman at Calvary as she tells her story. Last year’s Hope Awards Dinner included the premiere of the “Dear Beautiful Sister” video. The powerful voices and stories of women at Calvary are woven throughout the event. Add a delicious meal, rousing live auction and signature cocktails, and you get a truly memorable and moving evening!
