Showing Some Volunteer Love

Last weekend Calvary Women’s Services was happy to throw a small appreciation party for some of our volunteers at &pizza in Dupont Circle. Volunteers give so much to Calvary in so many ways, whether they teach a class, prepare and serve breakfast, help out at special events, or just spend time listening to women who may be having a difficult day. The least we could do is invite volunteers to join us for an informal pizza dinner! This was a fun opportunity for new volunteers to interact with people who have been volunteering at Calvary for years. It was also a chance for staff from Calvary to get to know volunteers in a different environment.
