Giving Hope, the 18th Annual Hope Awards Dinner

What does hope mean to you? With the 18th Annual Hope Awards Dinner coming up on May 8th at the Capital Hilton, we asked members of Calvary Women’s Services’ family to reflect on hope and why it’s important to give hope to women who are working to make lasting changes in their lives.

The Hope Awards Dinner is a vibrant celebration of leaders who uplift and empower women. We’ll come together to celebrate the success of women at Calvary who are ending their homelessness for good.

This year we are thrilled to present Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton with our Hope Award. Congresswoman Wexton is part of the historic 100+ women serving in the 116th Congress of the United States of America. She was elected to represent Virginia’s 10th Congressional District in November of 2018. Congresswoman Wexton inspires hope and empowers women, and we look forward to celebrating her achievements.

During the event, which will be hosted by Sasha-Ann Simons, reporter at WAMU, we will also recognize Hilton as our partner of the year. Be sure to join us for this inspirational evening, it’s a night you won’t soon forget!
