Our Commitment to Combat Racism and Promote Equity

Calvary Women’s Services stands with those raising their voices across the country and in our city to oppose systemic and institutional racism and acts of injustice against Black Americans. We remain committed to doing everything in our power to build an equitable society.

The majority of women who come to Calvary are Black and face the staggering consequences of racism, sexism, and intergenerational poverty as they work to overcome homelessness. Calvary strives to ensure safety for all who come to our doors and to create a space where each person is seen, heard, supported, and welcomed for who she is.

We must and will continue to work together with others in our community to build a future that embraces equity and diversity.
