5K for Calvary

Join us this summer for a fun community event to benefit Calvary’s programs.

On June 23rd, the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, in conjunction with the DC Running Club, is hosting a 5K run/walk that will raise funds for Calvary Women’s Services. So get your running shoes on and join us at Anacostia Waterfront Park for a fun, active summer event!

Over the next few weeks on Calvary Comments, guest blogger Katie Bolton will be bringing you some training tips and updates. Katie is a Program Manager here at Calvary, and also the resident running expert. Stay tuned!

The run will begin at 9:00am and the course will run throughout the park. All levels of walkers/runners are welcome. The park map and directions can be found (here). For more information, or to sign up, visit the Registration Site.
