Give Back at Home for the Holidays Reception

The arrival of December in two weeks means the arrival of many holiday parties, especially in the DC area. But there are not too many holiday events where you can enjoy tasty hors d’oeuvres and drinks while also giving back to women in the community who are homeless. Home for the Holidays on Tuesday, December 8 gives you the chance to do both! Join staff, volunteers and friends of Calvary Women’s Services as we celebrate the season of giving and the accomplishments of women at Calvary who are moving into their own homes.

This year’s holiday reception will be at Baby Wale in Northwest DC. This eagerly awaited restaurant on 9th Street boasts an impressive menu and hip atmosphere. Brightest Young Things says of the cool, industrial space, “We dare you to not whip out your cell phone and photograph it once in, no matter how cool you’re trying to play it.”
