Looking Ahead to 2018

As 2017 comes to a close, at Calvary Women’s Services we are reflecting on the stories of women who have moved out of homelessness and into independence. We are also planning ahead for 2018 and taking note of the items we will need to continue empowering women who are changing their lives.

Did you know that each woman who comes to Calvary is greeted with a welcome bag including a fresh pair of linens, a new pair of pajamas, and a set of full-sized toiletries? Nearly all of these items are donated in-kind from donors in our community.

As we head into 2018, we are calling on supporters in our community to donate items off our wish list. All of these items will be given to women staying in our housing programs as they create brighter futures for themselves:

  • Bathrobes (S-3X)
  • Slippers
  • Pajamas (S-XL)
  • Pillowcases
  • Twin-sized comforters
  • Twin sized bed-in-a-bag sets
  • Twin-sized sheet sets
  • Washcloths
  • Full sized body wash, lotion, toothpaste and deodorant
  • Gift cards to CVS, Target, Walmart or local grocery stores
  • Movie passes
  • Weekly and monthly planners
  • Watches
  • Umbrellas
  • Flip-flop sandals

Please ship or deliver donations to:
